we're timeless ok so a quick change of plans found me at chevys last night. turns out our friends band would be playing the second half of the night, a nice live music break from the pounding dance music paul spins all night to please the majority of the crowd that regulates on thursday nights. beforehand i met jeff and todd for pizza at deninos and right across the street is ralphs ices. thoroughly stuffed we headed over to chevys (after narrowly missing a car and avoiding what could have been quite the messy accident). i thought todds pizza and mint chocolate chip ice was going to resurface in perfect form he got so nervous. keith was already waiting for us and guarding one of the few empty tables left. finally settled into our booth he decides to buy us a round and came back with an impossibly red drink that i watered down with the remainder of my long island iced tea. that sweet. that strong. way beyond nasty. chevys hangovers are expensive. drunk phone calls can cost lots too. but we've all been there before. dinner plans with keith tonight...somewhere. plans indefinite as of yet. thats fine, because on friday nights it feels like we have all the time in the world.
