now i can return to my drink

talking to him always calms me down, my thoughts are put to rest for the duration of our conversation and it just flows. i saw his name on the caller id and my heart jumped. twenty minutes later i wiped tears from my eyes and re-entered the bar and joined my friends. funny thing is, i felt better. i always do.

i felt better knowing he wasnt ready to scrap the whole thing and that there is much potential for at least, the greatest friendship i have ever known.
