welcome home

dock street is your typical hole in the wall bar, but everybody loves it. if you didnt know it existed, you dont know it exists. underneath a fancy restaurant and hidden halfway in a dimly lit alley lies the entrance door, usually guarded by our friends older (and most likely intoxicated) brother.

steeeep steps lead you down to the dance floor, or mosh pit. bar to the left, stage straight ahead, comfy plush sitting area to your right. have to get there early to get a spot there though, as it is usually adorned with people lounging and sipping beers from end to end. plenty of room at the bar though. there is usually the same homeless looking man perched on a bench where the stage and the bar meet and he just kind of oversees the activities going on. not quite sure what his deal is but he has been there everytime i have, without fail.

our friends go on at 11 and im psyched. havent been to one of their shows in months and havent seen alot of the guys in even longer.

fake i.d: check. (bartender is super-strict, but show her the worst i.d. ever created and shes cool. i guess as long as she sees something) camera: check. (i think ive finally figured out how to get the pics onto the comp) love for eric's voice when he is performing: check, check.

too bad the weather resembles a september night instead of the first night of summer. the bar is right by the water and has a real pretty view of the bridge. i guess after the show we will just have to deal with bar-hopping all night.

damn :)
